Let's Get Ready!!

On Saturday, August 6, The Revealing, Book 2 of The Marked Series will be available for purchase and download.

The story that began in The Chosen continues in The Revealing!

With another member of The Council gone, The Mark has appeared on someone else, and he is just as unprepared for what lies ahead of him as Anya was.

Sixteen-year-old Josiah has had a wonderful life growing up with his large family on their horse farm and near the coast of The Outlands. He has never had to concern himself with what was happening in The Capital City, but all that changes when The Mark mysteriously appears on his shoulder. Now, he must find his way to the city and the people there that can help him.

While Josiah begins his journey, Anya is trying to find her place in a city she doesn’t understand.

Along the way, both Anya and Josiah will discover new truths about themselves and their families, as well as face unknown enemies that threaten their lives and the lives of the people they love the most.

Book Club? 

Why, Yes, Thank You!

As the release of The Revealing approaches, a super friend had a great suggestion. "Let's have a virtual book club for The Chosen, so we can all get ready to read The Revealing," she said.

Never one to scoff at a marvelous idea, I agreed that would be fun!!

So, here's how it will go:

1. If you want to join, fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Then I will add you as one of the contributors to the blog. 
2. Start discussing! Each week we will discuss a section of the book. I will post some questions, thoughts, etc., but don't feel like you need to follow those. Be creative!! Feel free to talk about the characters (who you love and who you hate), the storyline (any confusing bits or questions you have), the themes, connections to other books, even post an illustration or pictures/videos you think would be meaningful to our conversation.
3. Every blog post you write and comment you make on another's post enters you into a drawing for a free signed copy of The Revealing!
4. Then, on August 6th, I will hold a Facebook live session where I do the drawing and "reveal" who won the book! That would also be a great day for you to sport your tattoo of The Mark, if you got one with your signed copy of The Chosen.

 There are only three rules:

1. Be nice: I don't mind criticism, in fact, I welcome it because it makes me a better writer, but never forget that we are all people with feelings here. Let's keep things positive and pushing toward improvement.
2. No spoilers: Many of you may have already read the book, but there might be some that have not gotten all the way through it. Please only discuss the chapters that are indicated each week.
3. Have fun: This is the most important rule! This is a chance to talk about books, which should always be a great time.
